Sector Optics (Torrey Pines Logic, Inc. – “TPL”) is proud to be a U.S. manufacturing company, and as such must comply with applicable U.S. export laws, rules, and regulations surrounding our products, technology, and the materials provided to support the manufacturing of our products.

TPL products are controlled for export and import, by the applicable U.S. Department of State under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 CFR, Parts 120-130) and the Department of Commerce under the Bureau of Industry and Security Export Administration Regulations, EAR (15 CFR, Parts 730-774). Depending on what type of product you are purchasing would determine what type of license is required. In order to ship our products from the U.S. you must comply with the regulatory license and documentation requirements.

As a result of Export Control Reform legislation that came into effect on March 9, 2020 some products that were previously subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations have transitioned to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
